Copyright – We all know that as teachers we must understand our rights and responsibilities as users of copyrighted materials. This task will help you to determine what we can use, how we can use it, and when do we need to give credit.
Digital Footprint – In a digital world and information-sharing age, it can sometimes be hard to understand where privacy ends and what the real risks are. It is essential that students continue learning about the rights and responsibilities they have as digital citizens, and gain awareness of steps they can take to be safe and secure, and be empowered to make smart choices in order to remain in control of their digital reputation!

Digital Literacy and Citizenship – Digital literacy and citizenship relates to the norms of appropriate responsible behavior with regard to technology use. There are nine essential elements of digital citizenship which need to be addressed at all ages.
District Presenter – If you are doing something innovative or beneficial to others with technology, it is time to share that with others in your district. Present at least 50 minutes during a staff PD day and you can be rewarded.
Meet With an Instructional Technologist – The instructional techs are here to help. Schedule a time to sit down one-on-one with a tech during your plan time or after school.
Personal Time Professional Development – Attend a day of Technology Professional Development outside the district during your personal time.
State or National Presenter – If you are doing something innovative or beneficial to others with technology, it is time to share that with the outside world. Present a technological topic at a state or regional conference and you will be rewarded.
Tech Committee – Are you part of any local tech committee’s like Edcamp or METC? If so, you can earn this badge!
Technology Professional Development – Attend a day of Technology Professional Development outside the district.
